Roger has over 15 years’ experience in fund management, finance and commercial property. Previously, Roger was an Assistant Director at Close Brothers Group PLC’s tax efficient and property funds division, with responsibilities across a number of commercial property funds. Dickie Hodges has managed the Nomura Global Dynamic Bond Fund since 2015.  Prior to joining Nomura Asset Management, Dickie held the role of Head of High Alpha Fixed Income at Legal & General Investment Management, managing its “Dynamic Bond Trust” – an unconstrained fixed income fund which he managed from its inception in 2007 until April 2014. He spent 18 years at Gartmore where he was Head of Pan European Portfolio Construction with responsibility for both their SICAV European Corporate Bond Fund and their SICAV European Bond Fund. Dickie began his career in 1986 at Chase Manhattan Bank in Fixed Income operations, before joining Natwest Investment where he was responsible for management of a number of specialist investment funds employing derivatives and cash instruments to implement quantitative strategies.

Matthew joined Guinness Global Investors in September 2005 is co-manager of the Guinness Global Equity Income Fund and the Guinness Global Innovators Fund. Previously, he joined Goldman Sachs on the Graduate scheme working in Foreign Exchange and then Fixed Income. Matthew graduated from New College, University of Oxford in 2004 with a Master’s degree in Physics. Matthew is a CFA charterholder.

Junichi Takayama | Investment Director, Nikko Asset Management

Junichi Takayama is an Investment Director with the Tokyo-based Nikko Asset Management Japan Equity team. Now based in London he acts as a direct conduit for the team’s investment process, research, and insights to UK-based clients. With over two decades of investment management industry experience in Japan and the US, he has a distinct East to West and West to East view of capital markets. He has regularly written for and been featured in UK publications for wealth managers, such as Investment Week and Money Marketing, providing commentary on Japanese equities and the RSMR-rated Nikko AM Japan Value Fund.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Master of Business Administration with Honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (CMA).

Julie Dickson | Capital Group

Julie Dickson is an investment director at Capital Group. She has 29 years of investment industry experience and has been with Capital Group for seven years. Prior to joining Capital, Julie worked as the head of client portfolio management at Ashmore Group. Before that, she was the head of client portfolio management at Aviva Investors. She also held various positions at Axa Rosenberg, Mellon Global Investments, Barclays Global Investors and Merrill Lynch. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with concentration in finance from Cornell University. She also holds both the Investment Management Certificate and the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Julie is based in London.

Gabrielle Boyle | Troy Asset Management

Gabrielle Boyle | Senior Fund Manager, Head of Research, Troy Asset Management

Gabrielle is responsible for Troy’s Global Equity Strategy and is Head of Research. Gabrielle was promoted to the board in 2020. She is the Fund Manager for the Trojan Global Equity Fund and the Electric & General Investment Fund. Gabrielle has 29 years’ investment experience, has managed global equity portfolios since 2001 and European portfolios since 1998. Joining Troy at the end of 2011, previously Gabrielle was a Senior Managing Director at Lazard Asset Management where she worked for 17 years and was responsible for Global and European portfolios. Gabrielle graduated from University College Dublin gaining a BA in History and Economics and an MA in Economics. She holds the ASIP qualification and is an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK. Gabrielle was appointed to the Board of Witan Investment Trust in August 2019.

Helen Roughsedge

Helen Roughsedge | Investment Director, Fulcrum

Helen joined Fulcrum as Investment Director in July 2023 from Legal & General Investment Management where she was looking after large UK institutional clients. Previously she has worked as a Relationship Manager at GMO, a Senior Strategist in the multi-asset team at UBS Asset Management and in a variety of client-facing and investment product-focused roles at AXA Rosenberg, Man Group and JP Morgan. Helen started her career working as an auditor with KPMG and graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Exeter. At Fulcrum, Helen works as part of the Investment Team in a product specialist capacity as well as helping to maximise the overall client experience.

George Pickard

George has a BS from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.

James Norungolo

James Norungolo is an investment specialist in the U.S. Equity Division. He covers the full range of equity strategies, working closely with portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, and portfolio analysts to bring their insights and outlooks to clients, consultants, and prospects in North America. James's investment experience began in 1989, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2019, beginning as an investment specialist in the U.S. Equity Division. Prior to this, James was employed by U.S. Bank Wealth Management as a vice president for Manager Research and Due Diligence. In his career, James has managed institutional domestic fixed income portfolios and held client portfolio manager and relationship manager roles representing equity, fixed income, and multi-manager  strategies. James earned a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Virginia. James also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Ben James

Ben is an investment specialist for our US Equity Strategy and Scottish Mortgage. He is also a member of the US Equity Product Group. He joined Baillie Gifford in July 2015. Before his career in finance, Ben was an Infantry Officer in the British Army for eight years. During his service, he completed two combat tours of Afghanistan. Prior to this, Ben spent four years working as a professional musician. Ben graduated with a Masters in International Development focusing on sustainable investing and a BMus (Hons) in Music, both from The University of Birmingham.

Christopher Berrier has been the Portfolio Manager of the Small-cap Growth strategy since April of 2006 and the Mid-cap Growth Strategy since inception. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Chris was a Senior Equity Analyst at T. Rowe Price, covering multiple sectors with a primary focus on Small- and Mid-Capitalization Growth Companies.

John Bailer | Newton Investment Management

John Bailer | Deputy Head of Equity Income, Portfolio Manager, Newton Investment Management

John is a member of Newton’s equity income team and is the lead portfolio manager for dividend-focused Large Cap Value strategies. John is responsible for creating the Income Stock strategy to meet demand from clients seeking attractively valued higher dividend income while not sacrificing dividend growth. He is also the lead portfolio manager for the Equity Income strategy, which emphasizes dividend growth stocks, and a senior research analyst on the Dynamic Large Cap Value strategy. John joined Newton in September 2021, following the integration of Mellon Investments Corporation’s equity and multi-asset capabilities into the Newton Investment Management Group. Before joining Newton, John was a senior portfolio manager and analyst at Mellon Investments Corporation and The Boston Company Asset Management (both BNY Mellon group companies). He has managed dividend strategies for the firm since 2005. Previously, John was Chair of Mellon’s Proxy & Governance committee.

Mike Fox | Royal London Asset Management

Mike Fox | Head of Sustainable Investments and Fund Manager, Royal London Asset Management

Mike is Head of Sustainable Investments and co-fund manager of the RL Sustainable Leaders, RL World and RL Diversified trusts as well as the RL Global Sustainable Equity Fund. He has managed Sustainable Leaders since November 2003. Mike originally trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young. Mike has spent the majority of his career assessing environmental, social and governance issues and how they influence investment decisions. He is a specialist in sustainable investing and one of the few fund managers in this area with such long tenure.

Simon Nichols

Simon is a portfolio manager on the global opportunities team responsible for managing both global equity and multi-asset portfolios, including the BNY Mellon Multi-Asset Balanced and Multi-Asset Growth Funds. Simon joined Newton in 2001 and was responsible for research into a number of global industrial sectors before moving to portfolio management. Simon’s experience includes managing global, multi-asset, charity and UK equity portfolios. Simon is a chartered accountant (ACA) and prior to joining Newton he worked in both audit and insolvency practices at leading accountancy firms. He is a CFA1 charterholder, a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (MCSI), and also holds a BA (Hons) degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Dean Cook

Dean is a fund manager with primary responsibility for Aviva’s Multi-Asset Active Funds sold across Ireland and co-manager of the MAF Sustainable Stewardship fund range. He also contributes to the firm-wide Strategic Investment Group forum. Dean joined Aviva Investors from M&G plc where he worked in the Multi Asset Portfolio Management team, responsible for Prudential UK’s multi asset offering. Prior to this, he spent eight years in investment research at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank. He holds a BA (first class) in English Literature from Essex University. He is also a CFA® Charterholder and has completed the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Ajay Dayal

Ajay Dayal joined Franklin Templeton as an Investment Director in August 2020 from Legg Mason Global Asset Management, following its acquisition by Franklin Templeton. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director, Head of Equity Product Specialist Group at Legg Mason, and has been with the overall business for over 13 years. He represents the equity and multi-asset capabilities at Specialist Investment Managers within Franklin Templeton to articulate and shape their investment solutions and ensure their technical insights and value propositions are clearly communicated with internal and external clients. His team has a clear focus on client-centric engagement across multiple mediums and client channels globally to help accelerate the sales process and effect client retention. Ajay has 20 years of professional investment experience, and has previously worked at ABN AMRO Asset Management, M&G Investments and Barings. He has a BA (Hons) in Economics from Durham University, England and holds the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation and is a regular member of the CFA Society of the UK.

Yoram Lustig

Yoram Lustig is the head of Multi-Asset Solutions, EMEA and Latin America, in the Multi-Asset Division. He is also a portfolio manager and the chair of the UK and European Investment Committees.
Yoram’s investment experience began in 2002, and he has been with T. Rowe Price since 2017, beginning in the Multi-Asset Division. Prior to this, Yoram was the head of Multi-Asset Investments UK at AXA Investment Managers, the head of Multi-Asset Funds at Aviva Investors, and the head of Portfolio Construction EMEA at Merrill Lynch. He began his career in 1998 as a lawyer.
Yoram earned a law degree from Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A. from London Business School. Yoram also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, the Professional Risk Manager designation, and a diploma in retirement provision from the Pensions Management Institute. He is a published author.

Vincent McEntegart, Investment Manager, is a member of the Multi-Asset Group. Prior to his current role, Vincent worked for Goodhart Partners (an MBO of the multi-manager business of WestLB Mellon Asset Management) where he was a partner responsible for client relationships and new business. Prior to this, Vincent was Co-Head of Investment Manager Research at Hymans Robertson and a senior member of the investment consulting practice. Vincent has also worked for Alexander Clay Consulting (now part of Aon) and Clerical Medical Investment Group. He has been in the industry since 1987 and started with the firm in 2013. Vincent has a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Strathclyde and a Diploma in Actuarial Techniques from the Institute of Actuaries.
